2. Reported Speech แบบ Reported Request and Command
การเปลี่ยนประโยคขอร้อง ขออนุญาต หรือคำสั่ง (Request or Command) เป็น Reported Speech มีวิธีการเปลี่ยน Tense คำหรือข้อความบอกเวลา และคำหรือข้อความที่บ่งบอกความใกล้-ไกล เหมือนกับ Reported Statement แต่มีที่แตกต่างกัน คือ
การเปลี่ยนประโยคขอร้อง ขออนุญาต หรือคำสั่ง (Request or Command) เป็น Reported Speech มีวิธีการเปลี่ยน Tense คำหรือข้อความบอกเวลา และคำหรือข้อความที่บ่งบอกความใกล้-ไกล เหมือนกับ Reported Statement แต่มีที่แตกต่างกัน คือ
(1) ใช้กริยานำ คือ tell/told (บอก), order/ordered (สั่ง), ask/asked (ขอร้อง), command/commanded (สั่ง)
(2) ใช้ (not) to เป็นตัวเชื่อม
(3) ถ้า Direct Speech ไม่มีกรรม (object) ให้เติมกรรมลงไปใน Reported Speech ด้วย
(4) ถ้ามีคำว่า Please ให้ตัดออก
เช่น Direct Speech : He said, "Please don't make aloud noise."
=> Reported Speech : He told him not to make aloud noise.
(1) เปลี่ยนกริยานำจาก said เป็น told
(2) ใช้ not to เป็นตัวเชื่อมเพราะ Direct Speech เป็นปฏิเสธ (don't)
(3) เติมกรรม (him) เพราะ Direct Speech ไม่มีกรรม (4) ตัดคำว่า Please ออก
(2) ใช้ (not) to เป็นตัวเชื่อม
(3) ถ้า Direct Speech ไม่มีกรรม (object) ให้เติมกรรมลงไปใน Reported Speech ด้วย
(4) ถ้ามีคำว่า Please ให้ตัดออก
เช่น Direct Speech : He said, "Please don't make aloud noise."
=> Reported Speech : He told him not to make aloud noise.
(1) เปลี่ยนกริยานำจาก said เป็น told
(2) ใช้ not to เป็นตัวเชื่อมเพราะ Direct Speech เป็นปฏิเสธ (don't)
(3) เติมกรรม (him) เพราะ Direct Speech ไม่มีกรรม (4) ตัดคำว่า Please ออก
Direct Speech : She told us, "Come to the party tomorrow."
=> Reported Speech : She told us to come to the party the following day.
(1) ใช้กริยานำว่า told เพราะ Direct Speech ใช้ told
(2) ใช้ to เป็นตัวเชื่อมเพราะ Direct Speech เป็นบอกเล่า (Come)
(3) ใช้คำว่า us เป็นกรรมเพราะ us เป็นกรรมของกริยา told อยู่แล้ว
(4) เปลี่ยน tomorrow เป็น the following day
=> Reported Speech : She told us to come to the party the following day.
(1) ใช้กริยานำว่า told เพราะ Direct Speech ใช้ told
(2) ใช้ to เป็นตัวเชื่อมเพราะ Direct Speech เป็นบอกเล่า (Come)
(3) ใช้คำว่า us เป็นกรรมเพราะ us เป็นกรรมของกริยา told อยู่แล้ว
(4) เปลี่ยน tomorrow เป็น the following day
Direct Speech : She asked her father, "Let me go to Chiangrai with Ludda."
=> Reported Speech : She asked her father to let her go to Chiangrai with Ludda.
(1) ใช้กริยานำว่า asked เพราะ Direct Speech ใช้ asked
(2) ใช้ to เป็นตัวเชื่อมเพราะ Direct Speech เป็นบอกเล่า (Let)
(3) เปลี่ยนกรรมจากคำว่า me เป็น her เพราะเป็นคำพูดของผู้หญิง (She)
=> Reported Speech : She asked her father to let her go to Chiangrai with Ludda.
(1) ใช้กริยานำว่า asked เพราะ Direct Speech ใช้ asked
(2) ใช้ to เป็นตัวเชื่อมเพราะ Direct Speech เป็นบอกเล่า (Let)
(3) เปลี่ยนกรรมจากคำว่า me เป็น her เพราะเป็นคำพูดของผู้หญิง (She)
